I am writing to describe a very positive experience with the InfoFlo Contact Management Software product and its support team. I have been working in the computer / software industry since 1986 (pre-Windows!) and have used a wide variety of contact management / sales tracking applications over that 25+ year period. InfoFlo / Carmel Vision is BY FAR the best application of its kind I have ever seen. I started a new business venture (essentially, my third start-up) in the human resource technology field late last summer, and I began searching the market for an application that would fit the current workplace in terms of integrating and managing multiple information sources, information types and work flows – and make it easier to manage everything rather than more difficult. I needed a solution that would deliver what I needed, when I needed it – and allow me to add features and functions on a pace that paralleled my activities. Contact management and communication is the core of any business, but because I am a Team of One, the solution for performing these critical functions had to be easy, fast, intuitive and efficient. InfoFlo scores 10’s in all areas. The major apps I considered all seemed too heavy, too expensive and overblown with built-in functions and features that seemed to complicate a technology-driven market and its information overload rather than simplify it. . Following a conversation with Shai Berliner in September 2011, I was convinced to try InfoFlo – and he and his team have since helped me through several upgrades, add-ons, on-going technical support and most recently (today! 2/27/12) with migrating the application and ALL of my data to a new computer platform, without a hitch, without a glitch and WITHOUT talking to a machine! Kudos to the InfoFlo team and their innovative solution – paced to the growth and needs of its clients….now that’s a RARE business perspective!

We’ve been using the system for about 18 months now. It has done wonders for integrating our respective pieces of information that we run in a mobile office. Functions allow users in different physical locations to see the same information in real time, and make their edits, which are recorded. In addition, office management brings together all the hardware we operate into a single desktop environment , which is far more harmonious than having respective bits of software for every piece of gear! On the whole: fantastic! It has pushed productivity through the roof!

Last week, I had a ‘Eureka moment’! I discovered a software solution that I think might actually persuade me that the paperless office can be a reality. At worst, it will slash the time I spend filing and searching files and reduce the clutter surrounding me. In just one week of using it I’ve filled my waste bin half a dozen times and cleared almost a full file drawer! InfoFlo……It’s novel. It’s versatile. It’s efficient. It’s surprisingly affordable. It’s easy to use. It works. In fact, it so impressed me that I’m seriously considering taking up distribution rights for my geographic region and promoting it to small business right across the country. (I’m amazing myself by writing such high praise, because I actually hate software. I’ve spent a small fortune on solutions that just don’t make the grade.) InfoFlo is kind of a cross between a contact and communications management system and a document management system. It’s the only office management application that places the entire office at your fingertips.

I wanted to take a moment and compliment you and your team on a number of levels: To begin with, let me start with the actual product, your contact management system INFOFLO. We have been utilizing the software for approximately two months and its acceptance by all members of my staff has been quite remarkable. While it is common to encounter resistance when changing from an existing software program to a new format, I am pleased to report that was not the case with INFOFLO. To a great degree I believe it is the result of the intuitive nature of the system as developed by your team. Additionally, the features incorporated into the software have provided Gilman, Pope with a great deal of flexibility in the development of its new marketing effort while allowing for the necessary level of analysis needed to evaluate the overall effectiveness of our new offering. In particular, the bulk email marketing component of your software has allowed us to handle all electronic marketing efforts in-house eliminating outside costs and delays. On a separate note, I would like to extend my thanks to your team for its remarkable support effort. Obviously, there are always nuanced differences from business to business whether it is tied to the company’s existing IT infrastructure or the nature of the business itself. Regardless of the issues that arose during the process of incorporating INFOFLO into Gilman, Pope’s operations, your staff was extremely responsive and creative in allowing us to arrive at solutions that met our particular needs. And, while seldom needed, your company continues to provide timely and informed support as required. I would like to thank you for your time and patience. We were looking for contact management software to replace our Outlook Business Contact Manager that we were using and we are glad that you were so understanding over the last year when we had multiple setbacks in purchasing a new contact management software. We were looking for a contact management software that would be able to track all correspondence with clients, accounts, and jobs and also be able to import all of our data from Business Contact Manager. We also needed to get a software that we could share clients, accounts, and jobs and track emails, appointments, notes, and important documents. We have found that InfoFlo has met our needs more than any other contact management software we tried out. When I first looked at the software from Carmel Vision it was called Virtual Filing Cabinet. While Virtual Filing Cabinet was a great product, it was a little difficult to navigate. Now with InfoFlo your company has made some great improvements and it is now much easier to navigate. The layout of InfoFlo makes it so easy to find all of our important emails, notes, documents, and appointments. It is great that we are able to share jobs, contacts, and accounts so when one of the employees is out and a client calls in we can easily answer questions and follow up on any to-do items promptly without having to dig through a bunch of different spots. We reviewed multiple CRM’s and we decided on InfoFlo because it had everything we were looking for plus an excellent support team. Anytime we had any questions or problems you were great to work with and always answered our questions promptly. We are very happy with our switch from Business Contact Manager to InfoFlo. Making the switch was really easy with InfoFlo’s import function we were able to import all of our Contacts, accounts, and emails quickly. Thank you again for all your help.
