Personal VFC permits any windows application to save it content directly into Personal VFC, by saving it in "My Depot". This eliminates the need to initially save content to the file system, then locating it using the explorer viewer, and finally dragging the content into a given document depot.
 The file "CVI HP application.doc" has now been inserted into the "Activity Logs" entity under the "My Depot" tag.
 With "My Depot", once the content enters the system it can be easily linked to any defined entity, such as a contact, company, team or job. Moreover, dragging items from "My Depot" will force the content to be moved to the target depot, thereby removing it from the items to "deal with" list. This helps keep the view neat and organized.
Any files located in the Document Depot are easily accessible. Files can now be checked in or out in from the Document Depot. Checked out files will be displayed in red.
 When a file is being checked in, a new version will be automatically added after the version number and the description is entered.
