Document Management Features:
Check-Out a file allows user to edit a file. InfoFlo knows to automatically load the software native to it, so any file type can be check-out, whether it be a Word, Powerpoint, Excel!
Once complete, the user checks the file in. The Check-In process removes the lock on the file.
During the check-in process, the Version Control console window loads. The user inputs the new Version Label and adds any comments to the file, which can then be viewed by all shared participants.
The version history shows all previous versions of a file. In addition the date, name of user who made changes and any comments given to each version is shown. Any previous version can be previewed and/or reverted to as the most recent version.
The Document Management Add-On includes regulations of best practices involving retention of business records such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Therefore, although users may delete files, they remain in the database unless the administrator forcibly deletes them.
