Sales Agent Job Description
This is in a unique position for aggressive growth person and requires a full-time
commissioned sales agent to penetrate the local Rochester vendors/customers marketplace that later can grow to a bigger territories in the USA.
The commission offered is extremely high which ultimately means that the chosen
candidate must rise up to meet the challenge. Our objective is to motivate
individuals, the more time, effort and sales are generated, the greater the reward.
As an independent contractor your job duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Working within a designated sales territory or industry developing new
business with local vendors and customers.
- To work independently within a team framework.
- To agree to meet minimum sales expectations.
- To develop personal sales plans and marketing strategies.
- To represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
Payment for your services will be based on the gross amount of monthly
aggregated orders excluding any applicable taxes on a monthly basis.
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven ability to sell over the phone as well as face-to-face.
- A proven ability to cold call as well as develop warm leads.
- A proven ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organization
and time management skills.
- The ability and willingness to work flexible hours as dictated by clients.
- Must have own transportation and be willing and able to travel.
- The ability and willingness to work as an independent contractor.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business-to-business sales is ideal.
- Previous experience as an independent contractor is an asset.
- Experience with Information Technology is an asset.
